Many of us approach sex as an “act.” Something to “do” or “get” or “have.” We believe that our sexuality exists for the benefit of another.
Yet, from an ancient perspective, your sexuality was your life force energy. It belonged to you.
Sexual energy is earth energy.
It is the expression of love itself.
Yet, nearly 5,000 years ago a shift occurred. Sexuality began to become separate from love. It began to be separated from the earth. It began to be owned, controlled, and treated like a commodity. Sex became a duty or obligation. It became a “sin” in the eyes of many.
