Most of the Temples date back to 3,600 B.C. and beyond, which is over 6,500 years ago. Yet, somehow, they managed to move stones that weighed between 1,000 and 15,000 pounds (!!!).

When the Temples began to be discovered in the late 1800s and 1900s, they theorized that giants had to build the temples because the stones were so big. There is also speculation that ancient star civilizations were responsible for their creation. This was heightened by the fact that elongated skulls were found in some of the burial sites.
