One of the greatest wounds that has inflicted humanity for millennia is the separation between love and sex.
The split created the wounds that so many continue to face, whether it be dissociating from the body during sex, having sex before you’re fully ready, or being forced against your will.
Porn and prostitution are at all-time highs. Many women have adopted the wounding and call it “sexual liberation.” We glorify casual sex when most people having it still don’t value themselves, honor their body, or speak their own no.
Many people are ruled by the unconscious need to be desired by another. It feeds the ego-self. It creates a false sense of power. You will see this paraded on IG accounts as the “embodied feminine.”
Being “feminine” has nothing to do with being the most desired “object” in the room.
Being feminine is remembering how sacred you are. How sacred your body is. How sacred your sexual energy is.
It is not to be given away. It is not to be used as a weapon of manipulation. It is not to be discarded or ignored.
Being feminine is remembering your innate connection to the earth, the waters, the air, the sun, the moon.
You are both water and fire.
The goddess is everything.
She is the roaring volcano and the trickling stream.
She is the roar of a lion and the humming of a bee.
She is the silent whisper in your bones.
She is that which enlivens you, nourishes you, and delights you.
She is also that which will destroy the ways you identify yourself purely with the external world (aka the ego-self, or the false self).
As you remember Her, she re-members you.
You are whole and complete unto your Self.
This is true belonging.
This is the source of true love.
This is the wellspring of wisdom.
It is a wellspring of wisdom I am ready to share and talk about more publicly. For over 10 years, I have been researching ancient mythology and religious history while doing deep inner excavation work.
The split between love and sex is a primary focus of my forthcoming book and the deepest grief of my heart.
